Words of wisdom

Qur’anic passages on the separation of state and religion. And be gracious to the believers who follow you. But if they disobey you, say, “I am certainly free of what you do.” Qur’an 26:216
So, remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. ‏
Thou are not empowered to act with authority over them.
For behold, unto Us will be their return.
Then it is for Us to call them to account. Qur’an 88:21-26
